Stonehouse Woodworks is a log house building business located in the majestic Rocky Mountains in Golden, British Columbia. We give each of our custom log homes and heritage restoration projects our full attention to detail and we develop a close working relationship with each of our clients.
Dave Stonehouse
Dave Stonehouse is the owner and original log home builder of Stonehouse Woodworks. His journey with log building began as he built his own log cabin on the banks of the Columbia River. After being formally trained in log building and building numerous striking custom log homes, Dave began to study and work on the restoration of historic log cabins and hand hewn timber buildings in the years that followed. The history and beauty contained in the reclaimed wood continually intrigues and inspires him.
Our Team
Since the founding of Stonehouse Woodworks, the company has grown to include several highly skilled log house builders. Accuracy, precision and craftsmanship are central to our team; we hold a passion for the history of the craft of log house building. Stonehouse Woodworks aspires to build the best, quality, custom log homes that will withstand the trials of time and become antiques of their own.
